The Swan Athletic Football Club is proud to enter the 2026 season in a strong and exciting position, continuing to build on the success and momentum created throughout 2025.

Competing in the Perth Football League, SAFC remains a key division of the Swan Athletic Sporting & Community Club and continues to provide a pathway for players, coaches, volunteers and supporters across all levels of football.

In 2025, the club fielded seven teams across the competition, including B Grade League, Reserves and Women’s grades, C5 League and Reserves, along with the Drew Banfield and West Coast Colts teams. The addition of the C5 League and Reserves sides marked an important milestone for the club, giving Swan Athletic six men’s teams for the first time in many years.

This growth reflects the strength of the program and the commitment of the players, coaches, committee members, support staff and volunteers who continue to drive the club forward.

The 2025 season was a successful one, with several teams competing in finals, multiple sides reaching grand finals, and the West Coast Colts finishing the year as Premiership winners. It was a proud achievement for the club and a sign of the strong football culture being built across all grades.

As we look ahead to 2026, Swan Athletic Football Club is focused on taking another step forward. All teams from the 2025 season have been retained and will compete in the same grades, providing stability, continuity and a strong platform for further success.

Under the leadership of Club President Carl Scarfone, SAFC is committed to developing its players, supporting its coaches and strengthening the club both on and off the field. Carl brings more than 20 years of connection to Swan Athletic as a player, coach and club person, and is passionate about giving back to the club that has played such an important role in his football journey.

The goal for 2026 is clear: continue building a strong, united football program, compete deep into finals, bring more silverware back to the club and work towards returning Swan Athletic to A Grade football.

With a proud history, a growing player base and a committed community behind it, the Swan Athletic Football Club is excited for what lies ahead in 2026.
